Commander's Award for Public Service Presented to Tri-City Electric Co.

The Department of the Army presented Tri-City Electric Co. with the Commander's Award for Public Service on May 26, 2004. Tri-City Electric Co., the electrical subcontractor for the Lock and Dam 24 major rehab project in Clarkesville, Missouri, was recognized for outstanding performance and service to the United States Government. The award states the following: The willingness and ability of Tri-City on-site personnel to partner with other contractors and government personnel led to the solution of many problems which resulted in savings to the Government. The rehab involved three lock closures and the efforts put forth by Tri-City Electric Company helped ensure the project was open to the towing industry on time. Their willingness to partner with the Government led to numerous solutions of problems and helped avoid numerous others. For these outstanding efforts Tri-City Electric Company is presented a Commander's Award.
