John Deere Construction & Forestry Division Awards Tri-City As Ten Year Hall of Fame Partner
Tri-City Electric Co. has earned recognition as the John Deere Construction & Forestry Division's Ten Year Hall of Fame Partner. As a Ten Year Hall of Fame Partner, Tri-City Electric Co. has participated in and received Partner Status for ten consecutive years in the John Deere Achieving Excellence Program. Tri-City Electric Co. was selected for the honor in recognition of its dedication to providing products and services of outstanding quality as well as its commitment to continuous improvement. The award was accepted during formal ceremonies held on March 9, 2005 in Davenport.
Tri-City Electric Co. is a supplier of service to John Deere operations throughout the states of Iowa and Illinois.
Suppliers who participate in the Achieving Excellence program are evaluated annually in several key performance categories, including quality, cost management, delivery, technical support and wavelength, which is a measure of responsiveness. John Deere Supply Management created the program in 1991 to provide a supplier an evaluation and feedback process that promotes continuous improvement.
Tri-City Electric Co. was founded in 1895 as an electrical contractor and supplier. Today, the organization is a nationally-ranked top 100 electrical contractor and has established itself as one of the Midwest's premiere specialty contractors providing design/build, electrical construction, telephone and voice mail systems, data communications, engineering and integration, testing and preventive maintenance, security and access systems, document management and 24-hour emergency services. Tri-City Electric Co. is headquartered in Davenport, Iowa and maintains an office in Galesburg, Illinois.
