Tri-City Electric Company of Iowa has been named a Top 600 Specialty Contractor by Engineering News-Record. For the sixteenth consecutive year, Tri-City Electric Co. has been included in the Top 600 Specialty Contractors list, moving nineteen spots higher than in 2009. Tri-City Electric Co. was ranked as one of the Top 100 Electrical Contractors in the United States.


Nationally ranked number 268 among all specialty contractors, Tri-City Electric Co. is one of the highest rated electrical contractors in the state of Iowa as a result of surveys submitted to ENR. The rating was received after evaluation of total construction revenue, new contract revenue, and revenue by specialty and market.


Tri-City Electric Co. was the Better Business Bureau Integrity Award winner in 2009. The business practices of Tri-City Electric Co. and related activities in the community exemplify the highest standards of business ethics and conduct. The winners were nominated and then selected by a panel of business leaders after an extensive application process. The group felt that Tri-City Electric Co. has demonstrated high ethical practices with a long-standing history and reputation of ethical practices in the marketplace.
