Figge Art Museum

Figge Art Museum

The Figge Art Museum is located along on the riverfront in Davenport, Iowa, and contributed greatly to the re-invigoration to the downtown area, providing a gathering space for public events, and bringing art and culture to the residents in the region.

Because the building is in the heart of downtown, it needed to be designed to withstand the flooding that often occurs in the spring. As a result, the facility includes an 86-car parking structure that uses the walls as flood-walls.

The 110,000 square-foot, four-level building also includes an auditorium, five art studios and 25,000 square feet of gallery space.

Tri-City Electric Co. was chosen as the electrical contractor for this project.
