Fire Protection Sprinkler Fitter – Des Moines, IA
Tri-City Fire Protection is currently seeking a Fire Protection Sprinkler Fitter in the Des Moines, IA area. Main duties will include leading assigned projects and apprentice team members to ensure that all deadlines are met with regard to installation, service, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems for customers. This position requires at least 5 years of Sprinkler Fitting experience.
- Layout and install fire protection systems
- Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading
- Modify current sprinkler systems
- Modify current sprinkler systems
- Excellent two-way communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specs
- Ability to work as a team or independently
- Lifting 50+ lbs.
- Work on ladders and elevated surfaces
- Work in small spaces
- Work in a fast-paced, construction environment
- Must be 18 years old
- Ability to travel
Ideal candidate will be working as a journeyman or foreman through National 669 and have experience leading construction projects.
