With top-notch patient care, Cardiovascular Medicine (CVM) of Moline was growing at a rate that their existing facility could not keep up with – they were short on exam rooms, offices, and parking. The CVM project consisted of a new two-story addition included exam rooms and office space on the first floor and conference spaces, a sleep study lab and additional office space on the second floor. Our team provided LED Lighting and Lighting Controls, along with an addressable Fire Alarm System to the new space. We also upgraded the electrical service for the entire building from a 1000 amp to a 1600 amp to accommodate the additional electrical loads all while keeping the building fully operational during all normal business hours.
We are proud to have helped CVM make history as a part of this expansion project as one of new exam rooms became the home of the first Cardiac PETCT Omni Scanner in the USA! This technology makes it possible to better monitor therapy by showing smaller and clearer details.
Tri-City Electric Co. worked closely with the owners and the construction team to provide a project schedule defining the design, procurement, and construction of the project, along with a detailed execution plan as the CVM team was still providing care to their patients.
