The Xtream Arena and GreenState Family Fieldhouse is located in the heart of the Iowa River Landing. The 238,000 sq. ft multi-purpose facility includes retail, leased office space, multi-use fieldhouse, and 5,000 seat arena. A regulation sheet of ice supports the demands of the University of Iowa Club Hockey Team and Iowa City/Coralville youth hockey teams. The arena is also home to the University of Iowa women’s volleyball team. Our teams worked closely with the owners and the construction team to provide the installation of the digital signage, structured and access control cabling, security cameras, DAS (Distributed Antenna System) and the DTV (Distributed Television) System. During construction, we worked together with the other trades to provide a project schedule defining the design, procurement, and construction of the project, along with a detailed execution plan.
