The Sisters of St. Benedict of St. Mary Monastery goes GREEN!! The project consisted of 1,148 solar modules and 9 string inverters. There were two installations for the monastery totaling 487.9kW of solar energy. Between the two arrays, 90% of the energy used by the Sisters of Saint Benedict will be “Green Energy”! This project was made possible through the Illinois Solar For All program which helps non-profit organizations install viable green energy to their buildings.
