The Quad Cities Rehabilitation Institute owned by Encompass Health is greatly enhancing and expanding access to rehabilitative care in the Illinois Quad City area. This 48,107 sq.ft. facility was built to deliver exceptional patient services in a state-of-the-art medical setting. The facility has a full building diesel generator with external fuel monitoring software and was designed in full compliance with healthcare requirements for critical electrical loads. The 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital consists of a spacious therapy gym, advanced rehabilitation technologies, special daily living activities suite, therapy courtyard, dining room, in-house pharmacy, and daycare rooms. The facility is well-equipped to handle the evolving needs of today’s patients and is located on the existing Unity Point Health-Trinity’s Moline Campus. The rehabilitation center will provide a hospital level of care to patients recovering from stroke, spinal cord injuries, and other complex conditions within the heart of their growing community.
Tri-City Electric Co. worked closely with the owners and construction team. BIM Modeling was utilized throughout the project to coordinate major systems to work around conflicts prior to installation. The team facilitated the project schedule defining the design, procurement, and construction, along with a detailed execution plan.
