The St. Joan of Arc Catholic School built a beautiful new 80,000 sq.ft, two-story K–8 facility. The school includes two (2) classrooms per grade level, a dedicated wing with a separate entrance for pre-kindergarten and five (5) childcare classrooms, a full-size gymnasium with bleachers for athletic, school, and parish events. There are also common areas and a cafeteria designed to accommodate large gatherings. The electrical scope included power distribution, lighting and lighting control systems, and a complete fire alarm system throughout the building. The project also included numerous services from the Structured Cabling, Security Solutions and Telecommunications teams along with an intercom paging system supporting by the Audio/Visual team to ensure clear communication throughout the school.

Following completion of the core electrical systems, Tri-City also provided a complete HVAC control system include boilers, hot water system pumps, rooftop units, unit heaters, VAV boxes for individual room temperature control, and exhaust fans for ventilation and building static pressure control. An additional scope included kitchen HVAC controls with make-up air units (MAU) serving the exhaust hoods and exhaust fan interlocks, domestic hot water system monitoring, and limited integration with lighting control panels throughout the school. Tri-City Electric Co. worked closely with the owners and the construction team to provide a project schedule defining the design, procurement, and construction of the project, along with a detailed execution plan.
