The Story County Medical Senior Care Facility, located adjacent to the main medical campus in Nevada, Iowa, represents a modern, resident-centered approach to long-term care. This 60-room, 64,000 sq. ft facility was designed to replace the ageing long-term care unit that was originally built in 1969. Every resident now enjoys the comfort of a private room and bathroom, a significant improvement from the former semi-private accommodations. Key features include memory care accommodations, a physical therapy room, community areas including family gathering spaces, dining areas, and landscaped gardens. The facility is equipped with a paging system, and each residential unit has a mounted television installed by our technologies team. The Tri-City team worked closely with the owners and the construction team to provide a project schedule defining the design, procurement, and construction of the project, along with a detailed execution plan.
